The call for store merchandise is closed for 2010.
The Festival Store is an expansive museum quality shop that features thousands of works of erotica selected to meet every budget and taste and includes prints, small works, jewelry, cards, oddities, books, DVDs, collectibles, and similar merchandise. All artists are encouraged to enter work.
The Store helps to increase the exposure and monetary benefits for both the participating artists and the Festival and provides an on-site venue for the sale of reproductions of original works of erotic art featured in the Exhibition. This venue is not presented as a trade show but as an extension of the Exhibition.
If you have already uploaded merchandise via the Store Merchandise Form (different from the Exhibition Art Form) and need to review it, please click here.

Please read the following requirements very carefully. Incorrect applications will not be considered.
We recommend that you first Register before reading these instructions. Be sure to indicate that you will be submitting merchandise for the Festival Store.
The on-line Store Submission Entry Form will be given to you once you have Registered and read the following requirements.
Entry Requirements
Store Item Acceptance Policy: All Invited Artists and Artists whose works are selected by the 2010 Festival Jury are encouraged to submit work and merchandise for the Festival Store. Artists who choose to submit artwork and merchandise solely for inclusion in the Store must be approved by the Festival Store management. Artists are approved on the merit of their work as a whole—each individual item need not be submitted—a representative sampling is acceptable. Submissions of inventory remaining from a previous year will not be considered.
Artists who are submitting work for the Festival Store only will be contacted individually for work samples. Submissions are accepted from the creating artists only; no representatives, re-selling of work, or sales of individual collectors will be accepted, as our mission is to support living artists.
The Festival Store's primary focus is on reproductions, small works and erotic merchandise, with very limited space for framed works of art. If you would like to exhibit original framed art or sculpture, please submit your work to the Juried Exhibition, not the Festival Store (NOTE: the juried exhibition is now closed for this year). The Retail Director will review and consider all art submitted to the Exhibition and will invite a few artists to show their framed work in the store.
A completed store form including the artist's information, prices, and description must be received by the Festival store by Sunday, April 4, 2010; earlier submissions are HIGHLY recommended for artists who will be shipping their work.
Registration: All artists must register via this website. Be sure to indicate that you will be submitting work to the Festival Store. Once you have registered, and responded to your email confirmation, you may submit your art or merchandise through the Store Merchandise Submission Form. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, including indicating submission intentions (Exhibition and/or Store) as we are tracking hundreds of artists and thousands of pieces of art.
Submission Fee: There is no fee to submit merchandise for the Festival Store. If you would like to submit work for consideration in the Exhibition, the fee is $15 per artist (click here for details about submitting work for the Exhibition). Remember: the Festival Store does not accept submissions of original framed art.
Quantities: Artists may submit a maximum of 50 pieces per item (eg: 50 of the same postcard). If you ship additional inventory that has not been approved, it will not be sold
Model Certification: All artists who use models in photographs are required to submit a Models Age Certification form, available here. The completed form must be sent with the artist’s inventory. The Festival will keep this information on file to comply with United Sates Code, Title 18, Section 2257.
Display and Pricing: All merchandise must arrive ready for display with price stickers attached; pre-printed price stickers will be provided to the artist. The stickers will include the item control number and price. If the price stickers are not attached, the item will not be displayed for sale. All prices are to remain unchanged upon delivery with no bartering or price changes on items in the store inventory. Prior to May 2, 2010, 6:00 pm, items may be removed from inventory by purchase only.
Any small items such as postcards/cards or jewelry should, if possible, be accompanied by an appropriate display. A limited number of displays are available; priority on these will be given to artists from out of state. Artists are encouraged to provide display units for their work.
Work will be displayed on a space available basis. Effort will be made to display everything supplied, however if a large quantity is delivered by a single artist and space limitations become an issue, some items may be used as back-stock and made available for sale as space becomes available.
Prints should have a backing and be in plastic sleeves, cards should be in sleeves, etc. Proper presentation is the responsibility of the artist. Damage occurring due to customer handling will not be the Festival's responsibility.
Store Staffing and Security: The Festival staff will set up and run the store. Every effort will be made to provide the highest security possible; however, the Festival will not be responsible for any losses due to theft. By submitting merchandise for sale in the retail store, the artist agrees to hold the Festival, the Festival Store, the store management, and Foundation for Sex Positive Culture harmless. Note: Artists, this is a great opportunity for you to volunteer. People enjoy meeting the creator of the pieces they are purchasing. You can also help to provide increased security for your work.
Shipping, Delivery, and Pick-up: Detailed shipping and delivery instructions will be provided to artists who will have inventory in the store. See also Important Dates below.
Commission: Commission: 60% to the Artist, 40% to the Festival. (Please note that this commission is for the Store only.)
